New adventures, New people,

New laughs and New hopes,

New fears, New dreams,

New challenges, New slopes.

There will be needs, there will be nightmares,

adversity, a want to hide,

But with support and nursing,

we'll come out the other side.

Yes, we'll have fall outs,

arguments galore,

but know that I'll still love you

(even if you snore)

But lets focus on the good things,

laughter, wine, the pub,

Jokes, falls and embarasment,

And if we're not too old, the club?

So, here comes the New Year

Another year with each other?

Just know I'll always love you,

Though maybe not you mother.

Love is kind, Love is gentle,

Love is forgiving, Love is committed.

It does not seek revenge,

nor is it proud or vengeful.

Love dedicates wholly,

sacrifices regardless,

loves unconditionally.

Love is absolute, irresistible,

It cannot be hidden or ignored.

It fuels our desires, our passions,

It is the cause of our actions,

and the raise from our failures.

Love is everything one seeks,

a gift bestowed, found

It gives us reason for being

and without it we are but empty vessels,

without purpose or direction,

condemned to a life

of passionless emotion

Walls of love

It won't always be easy,

you and I,

hardships and tribulation

argument and worries.

We will face the storm of life,

and though winds of discord,

and hails of misfortune

must be endured,

our house shall not fall.

For we have built it strong,

upon foundations of trust and care,

foundations deep rooted

in tutelage and dependence.

So that when we face cyclones of contoversy

we shall face it together.
