Empty Pursuits
What do they hope for?
those who pursue it.
It does not heal or enlighten,
strengthen or richen
It is the most shallow of all pursuits,
and indeed the pursuers,
shall soon find them selves falling amongst the grains,
for if all you existence amounts to
is chasing fame for fame's sake,
it is a life built on sand
and liable to come crashing down around you.
