SR

As celestial comets crash from the black,

fire tails, light, heavy,
The upturned King, cast aside crown,
scepter broken, walls crumble
Chains of oppression unlocked?
Or the door to chaos of modern?

Sober

As babbilings of a drunkard,

are dismissed as delusions,
so too should the affliction of religion.
Perhaps its time for the world to sober up?

This is the decisions never told

This the truth undercover,
This is the boy never reach old
This is the tears of weeping lover
This is the sparkle in his eye,
This is the laughter on his face
This is emotion turned to die,
This is the dreams he cannot chase

This is the sacrifice he made,
This is the choice not undone,
This is the courage never fade,
This is honor 'gainst the gun,
This is the pain he cannot feel,
This is the release that will shall bring,
This is the scars that never heal
This is the forever worn ring.

This is the hearts that cannot hide,
This is the tears wept for the fight
This is the pride we feel inside,
This is the memory of our Knight
This is the neccessity that taken,
This is the bravery of our son,
This is the sacrifice required,

Shared Emotion

Now I know I don't know you,

but I'm sure I've seen your ghosts.
I'm sure I've shared your worries.
Easily distinguishable, lack of bounce,
the downward tug on red edge.
Bridges burnt, ties severed,
leaving me and you and us,
trapped off at all sides.

Yet amongst the synonymous tide,
the death of individualism,
is a welcome relief
in our shared loneliness.

What is Morality?

Morality is conscience voiced,

principle in action,
values announced
and rectitude of judgement.

It is the natural law of justice,
imparted from the soul,
from the heart, from within,
submersed by of flaws,
and released by our humanity

The Curse

Can you hear those jewels tumble from the crown?
Can you see the stars in crepuscule gowned?
Can you feel those colours in grey drown?
Can you taste that sky turn black and brown?
Can you see that sun stop flashing round?
And do the words seem lost in sound?
Do you see the moon face turn to frown?
such is the curse of boredom.

Remembrance Roses

They cared

They cared for the values of truth and honour,
loyalty and courage,
comradeship and heroism,
the strength to stand up for what's right,
in face of evil and adversity.
They cared for their country,
their fellows, their friends,
their brothers their family.
They cared for truth and allegiance,
fidelity and duty
principle and virtue,
integrity and righteousness.
They cared enough to make
the ultimate sacrifice,
shared and final.
And now these values must live on in us,
not just within these remembrance roses,
less their sacrifice be in vain.
They care

Wrongdoing and Character

The acceptance of wrongdoing is not an easy admittance,

most live their lives estimable and inculpable,
attempting in their own humble way,
to propagate morality within their universe.
Futile? Perhaps.
For this spectrum of colour and Cimmerian Shade
is far greater than the Lilliputian actions that we undertake.
However, admittance is a necessity if we are to continue,
lest the fire of guilt, be it a spark or an inferno,
destroy you from the inside.
For to ire is part of human nature,
embedded into the depths of our soul,
but it is not what a man does,
but what a man thinks of what he has done,
that truly defines his character

Insignificant questions

There is a reason for being,

I must believe that with every fiber of mine,
for what are we without purpose?
An empty shell? Merely a vessel?
A collection of atoms, intricately formed,
yet still of little significance against
the backdrop of trillions.

We are born, we live, we die.
So are we really so much greater than a flower,
whose entire significance for being is to produce?
What do we mean in the grand scheme?
Are we really a cosmic accident?
Just an incident? Something that just happened?

No, I say these questions don't matter,
For it is not our synonymous destination,
but the choices on the path we take,
that truly defines us.
